She did LL.M from the University of Lucknow, in the year 2009. She had been topper of her batch with specialization in Constitution and Human Rights. She did her research work on Right to Information and Good Governance with particular reference to National Security as part of her Masters Dissertation. She qualified UGC NET Dec 2008 & June 2010. After doing B.A. (English) in 2004, she graduated in Law (LL.B.) from the same university in the year 2007. She was awarded a Gold Medal for Land Law and another Gold Medal for Civil Procedure Code in her LL.B. programme. As part of LL.B. programme, she also bagged Gold Medal for the best student of Labour Law in the year 2006. She was also appreciated with the Certificate of Brain of Lucknow University. She was awarded Pratibha Samman for securing highest percentage of marks in ISC Examination.

She has published a book, Right to Information from Bookshelf, New Delhi. Besides, she has to her credit different research papers/articles published in edited volumes /journals of repute. She has also participated & presented papers in several National and International Seminars and Conferences. Her doctoral research is on The Constitutional Protection against Right to Self- Incrimination and Narco-Analysis Test- A Critical Appraisal.

Her areas of interest includes: Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Human Rights, IPC, Contract, Insurance Law, and Cultural Studies.
