Dr. Monika Srivastava is a Gold Medalist in Political Science from University of Allahabad. A Senior research Fellow(S.R.F) of University Grants Commission (U.G.C), she taught undergraduate classes in University of Allahabad for 5 years. he has four publications in the esteemed international journals like India quarterly, published by Indian Council of World Affairs(I.C.W.A), New Delhi, and Oriental Anthropologist – a peer reviewed, International Bibliography of Social sciences (I.B.S.S) listed, journal. • "Indian cultural heritage - a post modernist view" Oriental Anthropologist, July 2005
• "India as a emerging power", India Quarterly, January-March, 2006

Besides this, she has contributed several papers in national seminars and books. She is also spiritually oriented and has written many spiritual articles in national newspapers . Her area of specialization is international relations. She recently got her doctorate degree from the University of Allahabad on the topic "India's foreign policy under non congress regimes with special reference to immediate neighbours."
