Dr. Sanjay Singh obtained his Master’s degree from Department of Sociology, University of Lucknow in the year 1995. In the same year he was awarded the U.G.C. Junior Research Fellowship. He has been teaching undergraduate and postgraduate classes since 1998. He has presented many research papers in National and International seminars and conferences. He is member of many academic and professional bodies. He is member executive, Ethnographic and Folk Culture Society, India. He has published articles and reviews in different journals. He is one of the editors of Macmillan Advanced Research Series on Asian Youth and Chlildhood. His area of interest is women’s studies, dalit studies, sociology of politics and social change.
